Brick Masonry Construction

Brick is one of the most timeless masonry looks as it dates back for centuries. Historically, sun-baked clay bricks were even used more than 6,000 years ago in the construction of buildings.

Adding brick to a residence or commercial location provides an elevated character and unique look. Outside of its classic aesthetic, brick is also highly durable, maintenance-free, and easily customizable for the space. From herringbone to running bond to English bond we’re always happy to provide our opinion for which brick bond pattern we would recommend to match the vision for your space. Most commonly, brick is used for interior or exterior accent veneer, site walls, or fireplace facades.

Block Masonry Construction

Block walls are composed of concrete masonry units (CMUs) that are stacked to create anything structural – from retaining walls to raised garden beds to commercial buildings or warehouses. By nature, CMU block are incredibly durable, low maintenance, energy efficient, and noise reducing.

Based on the height and length of the block wall, prices can vary so please give us a call to discuss the scope and estimates of the project.

Paver Masonry Construction

Pavers are a great way to add value to any home. When installed properly, pavers are versatile, durable, low maintenance, and weather resistance. If pavers are needed in a place with high moisture, the quarries we work with also offer permeable pavers that allow for proper drainage. Many homeowners also opt to have pavers sealed which can provide a gloss finish to the space outside of the the paver’s traditional matte finish.

Depending on the size of the space, pavers come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns so in-home consultations can be helpful to discuss the proper square footage and base work needed. Pricing can often include ground preparation, gravel, and top sand, so give us a call for an estimate.

Stone Masonry Construction

Exterior stone veneer provides immediate curb appeal and instantly brings an element of character to the home. When stone veneer is used for interior accent walls, it warms the space and depending on the style of the stone can make the space feel modern, traditional, or timeless. Most homeowners prefer stone as an exterior facade, for interior focal points on an accent wall, or for custom fireplaces or fire pits. If you’re searching for stone work near me, you’ve found your match.

Depending on the style and size of the individual stone pieces, prices for stone veneer can vary so we’re happy to discuss options over the phone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here, you’ll find answers to the questions we receive most regarding our masonry services.
We’re happy to answer any more questions you might have.

We’ve done work from Madras to Gilchrist and everywhere in between. We service all of Central Oregon.

As with most things, it depends. We prefer to do a consultation to understand the state of the brick, how well it was maintained, and the work required for repairs.

We offer a free in-home consultation to get a better sense of the size, space, and complexity for your project. Then, we can discuss the benefits for each type of material, provide samples, and share pricing estimates by the foot.

We recommend avoiding the use of a sandblaster as it can be too harsh on natural elements if not used properly. Instead, a high-pressure garden hose or pressure washer will do the trick. In some cases, we can use an acid wash substance if efflorescence material build-up persists.

Yes, we are licensed (CCB #210104) for all masonry projects and bonded for larger commercial jobs.

Most masonry work requires stable weather conditions. If the weather is extremely cold it can impact the grip of the mud and cure of mortar. Thankfully, here in Central Oregon our weather patterns are predictable so we work all year round.

Since materials like brick, paver, or stone do not have a painted exterior, the color longevity is extremely durable and relatively fade resistant. This is an advantage for most homeowners since masonry work can stand up to all weather conditions.

Prices vary depending on the material, ground work preparation, and scale. Please give us a call to schedule a consultation and we can give estimates for your project scope and budget.
